GB & Smith are looking for an IT Sales Account Manager… what does the job entail?

  • Generate new business through activities of prospecting, cold calling and networking,
  • Work with entire sales department and other in house resources to share ideas,
  • Be able to work closely with our Pre Sales on each potential deal,
  • Attend conferences and events,
  • Develop and manage your own sales pipeline,
  • Analyse and follow market trends,
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms.
  • Increase the company’s brand awareness 


  • Postgraduate’s degree and minimum of 4 years’ experience at least in Software analytics preferably Business Objects related,
  • Demonstrated track record in closing new business and exceeding sales targets,
  • Needs to like technical solutions / Problem Solver,
  • Impeccable written and spoken English,
  • Be able to meet and present to clients (events / conferences),
  • Be a self-starter, have a strong personality and be a team player, 
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines,
  • Curiosity is a fundamental quality.
